Cryogen Gas Specifications
CryoTech cryoanalgesic devices are designed to work
only with medical grade nitrous oxide (N20) or medical
grade carbon dioxide (CO2). A “Certificate of
Conformance” is available from your medical gas
supplier. The gas cylinders must be fitted with
non-siphon valves.
The minimum recommended purity assay for medical
grade nitrous oxide is 99.0% with limits to other
contents as shown below in a typical “Certificate of
Conformance” format:
